It would be nice if it was just that easy, but that is not reality. Modeling is hard work that requires being punctual for shoots with a tight deadline, being in heavy clothes in summer and half naked in winter, and doing it all with a smile on your face and in your eyes.

     

Very few models have been "found" just walking down the street. Just as a photographer spends thousands on a camera, lenses, and lighting, you must be willing to invest in yourself before landing good jobs. You can be hired for a big ad campaign where they do your hair and makeup, give you a wardrobe, and send you a driver, but first you need a reason to be hired. Just FYI....when I need to hire a model for a commercial shoot I don't pick someone I don't know. I am going to hire someone I have already worked with and enjoyed working with.

          

    

I always provide a safe environment for your shoot. If you are uncomfortable it will show in your photos and will be a waste of our time and effort. You are always welcome to bring an escort with you. I will not ask them to assist in any way but they may be there to observe and make you feel safe...just make sure you explain the nature of the shoot to them ahead of time. Whenever possible my wife comes along to assist me and she helps everyone feel relaxed and keeps us laughing.
